Hey loves!
As promised, here are some of the places I visited on my last trip to New York. Some places I've been before and have been on my curated list of my favorite NYC cafés, but hey! If they're good, why stop going?
1. Jack's Wife Freda
Obbbbbviously. This is a must. If you are in town, please please please promise me to pass by Jack's Wife! Suggestions: Madame Freda, Chicken Kebab (!!!!), Green Shakshuka (!!)
2. Chalait
Ok, by now you must know that I have an obsession with (good) matcha coffees. We went twice to this little gem of a place on our last trip to New York and nope, never gets old. Suggestions: The matcha latte (hot or cold) and matcha cortado
3. Two Hands
Waited an hour for this. Worth it? 100%. This small café/resto situated in Chinatown/Little Italy is ALWAYS busy. No matter what time of the day you're going, there's always a lineup! Ridiculous..ly understandable! Suggestions: Acai bowl (!!!), Ricotta toast (!!), Avo toast
4. By CHLOE
Your biggest chance of bumping into a famous fashion blogger is at this little corner. No wonder Song of Style loves this place. It's A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Not a fan of vegan food? No problem. This place makes vegan food just as tasty if not tastier than non-vegan food.
Suggestions: Pesto meatballs, Mac and Cheese (!!!!!)
5. Momofuku Noodle Bar
Ok. This place. We waited over an hour (again) to try this restaurant. The restaurant is best known for it's ramen, but to be quite honest the appetizers stole the show for me. Best pig tails I've ever had (sorry Mom!) For those with a sweet tooth, they have a milk bar too! Suggestions: Green kale (!), Pig tails (!!!!!!), Chicken Meatballs buns (!), Birthday Cake truffles (!!), Cereal milk ice cream (!!!!)
