Spring is probably one of my favorite season because what's better than warmer weather, flowy dresses and colorful patterns to break out of of the sad and monotone black of winter? Don't get me wrong, I love black clothes! But there's just something so lively about new spring trends every single year!
I wanted to chat to you guys about 4 of my favorite trends this season while showcasing you 3 different spring outfits!
1. Stripes
Stripes are making such comeback this season, especially vertical stripes. We're seeing this trend on dresses, tops and pants... basically everywhere! I'm particularly loving the vertical stripes because they are so so flattering on the body! They make you look thinner and elongated!
This dress from Dynamite giving me such Parisian vibes especially in this area of Old Montreal! Ugh, can't get enough! I love how the inside of my mini Mansur Gavriel bucket bag matches with the red stripes on the dress!
Another way to wear stripes this season is on your pants and I absolutely love it!
These pants from Uniqlo are my faves! They are so flattering on, even more so with the vertical stripes. They come in so many different colors and patterns! The pants are high waisted and are the perfectly tapered at the end.
2. Florals
"Florals for spring? Groundbreaking." Yes, FYI florals are back guys!! It is the most timeless "trend" because it will literally never go out of style. I fell in love with this floral dress from Le Chateau after doing a photoshoot for their SS18 collection. It just screams spring!!
3. Midi length
Another trend that this look incorporates is the midi length. Midi skirt and midi dresses are all in this spring! Honestly, I know it's not made for everyone but I personally find it so girly and classy! In this look, I'm turning the midi dress into a more casual look with white sneakers and a fanny pack, but you could totally dress this up by throwing on a nice pair of heels and an evening clutch!
