'Tis the season to be jolly! With the first snow we had in Montreal this week, I thought it was pretty appropriate to share with you guys my holiday gift guide, all under 100$!
If, like me, you have friends and family members that seem to already own everything and who make it pretty much impossible to find gifts for, this gift guide is for you. I've compiled all the things that I think would make the perfect gift for every type of person/gender!
For the homeowners:
1. Google Home Mini or Amazon Echo Dot
Google Home and Amazon Echo are amazing home assistants and make great gifts for homeowners. They are useful to play music, tell you the weather and sync events into your calendars. 2. Keurig Mini
For the coffee lovers in your life! Everyone loves a good coffee in the morning and the easiest way to achieve that is with the Keurig Mini. It's a single serve coffee maker that delivers the perfect coffee using their K-Cup pods in minutes. The great thing about this machine is its sleek design (less than 13 cm wide!) which makes it easy to store for people who don't have a lot of counter space. It retails for 89.99$.
3. Vitruvi essential oil diffuser
There's nothing more lovely than the soothing smell of lavender or eucalyptus infusing in your home. With it's beautiful design, the Vitruvi essential oil diffuser not only makes your whole house smell amazing but also serves as an accent piece in your room of choice. The infuser originally costs 119$ but you can easily find discount codes of 20% on Instagram through influencers so it comes out to 95.20$ (check out my friend @audreyrivet 's account for her own discount code of 20%).
For the women in your life:
1. Mejuri jewelry
Mejuri is my all time favorite jewelry line and the only jewelry I actually wear on a day to day basis. Not only is their material made from high quality gold and sterling silver, they also sell their pieces at an extremely affordable price. Most pieces are plated in real gold and are under 100$. Some of my personal favorites are the Tarot collection necklaces, the zodiac rings and the star signet ring.
2. Kerastase hair treatment at L'Atelier Vieux-Montréal or at Local B
The Kerastase Fusio-Dose is like bathing your hair in gold. It's like an intense serum for your hair that can target specific needs such as hydration and brilliance. My hair after getting that treatment has never felt so soft and supple and your special lady (whether it's your girlfriend, your best friend or your mother) will appreciate this without a doubt! 3. Dermalogica ProSkin 60 facial
Women love getting pampered so a facial is the perfect gift. I personally recommend the Dermalogica experience because their products are very gentle and can cater to a lot of different skin types, even the most sensitive ones. The Dermalogica ProSkin 60 facial is a 60-minute personalized treatment for your skin. It's offered at the Dermalogica in Montreal on McGill street as well as other beauty salons across the city. It's 100$ for a 60-minute facial.
4. A mani/pedi at L'Atelier Vieux-Montréal or The Ten Spot
Who doesn't love a good mani and pedi? Getting your girl a free mani/pedi will definitely make her day, whether she already gets her nails done (a free one can't do any harm!) or never does (she will love the pampering!). I personally suggest l'Atelier Vieux-Montréal because they have some of the best nail artists in Montreal (see my latest blog post on nail art!). You can get a regular mani and pedi for 95$ or a shellac mani and regular pedi for 98$. The Ten Spot also offers amazing services of manis and pedis for 92$.
For the cooks:
1. Le creuset under 100$
For the cooks who already have everything, offering Le Creuset can be a nice fancy addition to their collection of kitchenware. Le Creuset offers a selection of items under 100$ on their website, but you can also find a few pieces at Winners and Homesense for quite the bargain!
2. Cocktail mixology set
You always have that friend that loves to make cocktails! What better way to up their game than by getting him or her a mixology set! It includes a shaker, a strainer, a muddler, a citrus zester and a measuring cup.
3. Sous-vide/vacuum-sealer machine
A sous-what you say? A sous-vide machine can be a very handy instrument to gift, especially for those who like to plan and prep their meals in advance. It vacuum seals them so that they can be properly stored in your fridge or freezer and it can also keep your food fresh longer! This one from Geryon retails for 74.99$.
For the techy-techs:

We all know that one person who's always on their phone and always asks to borrow your phone charger. Gift them a portable charger for the holidays so that you can keep your phone charger and they can also keep their phone charged! 2. Google Chromecast
Whether you want to connect your phone to your TV to watch a Youtube video or browse the Internet, you can do it with the Google Chromecast. It's the ideal gift for those techy families because they can connect all their devices to the TV! Yes Mom! You can connect your iPad too! It goes for 45.25$.
3. Fitbit
Fitness enthusiast? The Fitbit is the perfect gift for those who like to keep track of their performance, activity, heart rate and sleep. It is currently on sale for 79.99$ at BestBuy!
