Summer is finally here!! Officially kicking it off with two long weekends here in Montréal... what more can you ask for?! For the occasion, I wrote an article on my favorite summer hair trend: major accessories! You've seen it, I've seen it, your mom has seen it... yes, yes, I'm talking about the famous clips and whatnot! I'm sharing with you some of my favorite accessories to rock in your hair all summer long!
If you know me, you know I'm a huge supporter of local brands such as Gibou. This Montreal-based brand first specialized in winter accessories made for our Canadian weather and then came out with their first summer collection in 2018. I've been obsessed with their most recent summer collection that includes silk hair scarves and cute hair elastics.
Rebecca Hessel Cohen, the owner of LOVESHACKFANCY, launched her brand on the idea of "dancing barefoot in the garden under the moonlit summer night". As I was scrolling through her page on Shopbop, I've literally never seen such perfect branding. Not only do her dresses perfectly reflect that ideology, her accessories are a match made in heaven for those summery outfits. I also love that they have bundles such as this cute 3-pack of scrunchies available on Shopbop!
Known for their floral designs, Hemant and Nandita makes some of the prettiest and unique clothes you'll ever see. Same goes for their hair accessories. With some of the most beautiful patterns and materials, you will find the perfect feminine touch to add to your outfits. My personal fave is this rust-colored scrunchie!
I love Zara for clothes as well as accessories. As an extremely fast fashion brand, you will always find the latest trends there including a wide selection of those famous pearl hairclips!
Hairbands are their forte and they definitely do not disappoint. From crazy colorful to subdued shades of pastel, they have headbands for every taste. This boho headband and pastel scrunchie are straight up my alley.
You guys know my love for this brand when it comes to affordable jewelry. I wear their hoops everyday and am still not over them! They also carry some cute gold accessories for your hair such as these pearl clips and these seashell pins! A-d-o-r-a-b-l-e.
